Quality Control Issues *washing update w/ pictures*
*update* 4/3/22I’m adding 1 Star to make 4 Stars because I finally laundered my placemats. I’m so happy with the good set of placemats, the quality I know Urban Villa can deliver, but doesn’t always.I washed the placemats in a cold, normal cycle with regular liquid laundry detergent. I put them in the dryer on a tumble dry, low setting. They came out a bit wrinkly (which I was aware of and I don’t mind the ironing) , but they ironed up amazing. With a hot iron on linen (or cotton) setting with steam, I ironed front, back, front and by then they were smooth and crisp. The fabric is sturdy with a nice a nice feel. I love these placemats! I would d love a second set with no defects.3/19/22I did have to send back the fourth set of placemats. One had a bright green thread sewn into the fabric and these are a white and taupe check. There were a few wonky corners that weren’t sewn evenly. I really do love the Urban Villa products and I know they can put out a quality product because I have a full set of six placemats that are great and two sets of twelve cloth napkins that are just the best. I would really like to be able to get another set of placemats so that I have enough for eight at my table. I might give it some time and try again.**************************************************************I really like the Urban Villa brand. I first purchased cloth napkins in the taupe buffalo check and the solid taupe. I finally purchased these taupe buffalo check placemats and I really loved them too. The problem is, I purchased a second and third set that had to be returned due to defects with the fabric or sewn poorly. I have just purchased a fourth set, hoping this is a good set. But if they aren’t as nice as the first set I purchased I will send them back and won’t attempt another purchase.I have not washed these yet. But I know from the napkins that they will have to be ironed and I am ok with that. I like them crisp and folded nicely. The fabric is a thick, sturdy cloth. They wash well. I don’t really have any issues with staining. A few are sewn a bit off towards the corners, but for the most part they are sewn fine. I really do love the look, the feel and want to purchase more. Only once have I been able to find top quality placemats that I love and that was over 20 years ago. I really do love Urban Villa. They are affordable and can produce a top quality product. I just wish they paid a bit more attention to quality control.

Nice quality
This is really nice. It is of high quality. Nice thickness to it. It comes rolled up so there are no wrinkles out of the bag. A good purchase. The snowflakes will take me through the winter.

I like the quality of this table runner. I previously purchased a cheaper runner but it was quite thin and looked like a low budget purchase on my table. I bought two of these (one for my dining table and one for a matching sideboard and they look great. The material feels substantial. I have not laundered them yet so can’t attest to whether they hold up well after washing. I am hoping they will as I really like them.
