Tiny but pretty color.
These lights are tiny so be aware when you purchase them and read the description. I didn’t and bought them based on the picture alone. I thought they would be bigger but that is my fault! The color is pretty and the pumpkin lights cast a nice glow. I think I’m going to add some garland behind them to fill them out a little as they look sparse right now.They are easy to turn on and off with the battery pack.I did not review the timer function as I didn’t see a timer but I suspect they are the type that switch off after a certain number of hours.

Exposed wiring, exposed light bulbs, misleading photos, crackling/popping noises
Cute, but terribly constructed. The wires are thin and not covered by any plastic or tubing at all, for the entire length of the string. What I’m saying is — exposed wiring. Not cool. Plus, the wires bend and hold that creased shape, so any manipulating of that will most certainly break after just a few uses. Also, look closely, because the photos in this listing are deceptive — only the pumpkins actually encase all AROUND the light. The other shapes (leaves and acorns) are just the little light bulb sitting BEHIND a little plastic front piece (in other words, the light bulb is exposed on the back, not enclosed like the pumpkins are)…so unless you twist the wires to make them face properly (which will indeed quickly damage the wires) you may end up looking at a light bulb rather than a backlit leaf or acorn. Not only that, but several of the images in this listing are edited to make the lights appear far larger than they actually are. Came back to edit/add that now (after only a few hours of use) the battery packs are making popping and crackling noises (batteries are brand new), which means that they (the battery packs themselves) are about to fail. I would return these, but according to other reviewers, that has been a nightmare. So I will use them until they die, and then throw them out. Do yourself a favor and don’t buy these. Shame on me for not reading others’ reviews before I purchased them myself. Coming back one more time to tell you that only 3 days of use and they killed brand new batteries. What the heck?!?
