Great large picnic blanket! I used it over the summer at my husband’s lacrosse games, so that my daughter could roll around and play without eating grass LOL. It worked great! Comfortable and didn’t make us sweat. Easy to roll back up and put away.

A terrific investment
This waterproof large picnic blanket was perfect for my back yard…I noticed that there were many ants crawling around at the end of the picnic…but very few of them actually got onto the blanket! I am so glad I got this blanket because it was thick enough for a comfortable picnic despite the uneven ground beneath surrounding tree roots! There was plenty of room and it was easy to wash…tumble dried on low and very easy to store!

Large Picnic Blanket
Easy to refold and velcro shut. Waterproof and a great size. The top fabric isn’t super “soft” but isn’t plastic or scratchy. 2 people can lie down and stretch out comfortably.

I’ve been using this large picnic blanket for park outings and a short beach trip, and it works really well. The size is generous, which has plenty of room for a few people to sit comfortably without feeling cramped. It folds down to a manageable size, making it easy to carry and store. The material feels durable and has held up well against damp grass and sand. The waterproof bottom keeps moisture from seeping through, and cleanup is simple; just shake it out or wipe it down. It’s not padded, so if you want extra cushioning, this might not be ideal. For basic outdoor use, though, it’s a reliable and practical choice.

This review is for the TigeJoy Extra Large Picnic Blanket Waterproof 80×100, the 6’8″ x 8’4″ size, in grey.First impressions are very, very good. This is very lightweight, and easy to unfold, AND more importantly, fold-back up again. TigeJoy includes a nice cheat-sheet for how to fold it back up, but it’s very intuitive, and far quicker than similar fold-up blankets I’ve used before. Once folded and rolled, the Velcro closer locks it tight, and you are left with a carry handle and strap that easily goes over your shoulder.The large size we got is easily big enough for a family of 4 to relax at the beach, it’s surprising how big it is, compared to our other beach blankets.It’s lightly padded, and definitely water resistant, and that kind of material that sand just brushes off, so it should stay clean and dry after a day at the beach. Lightly padded is still thin, however, this is more of a layer between you and the sand, or lawn. It’s not thickly padded, but that’s not what it’s meant for. Any thicker and it wouldn’t roll-up as nicely as it does.At the time of this review it was around $50, which is very reasonable for such a large, easy to fold blanket. Ordinarily we carry 2 or 3 blankets, I think we can now just carry a single blanket.

I ordered the rectangular beach blanket, 80 x 100 inches. It’s such a great size, comfortably seating 5 of us at the beach with room for our stuff as well. Because of the material, when we were leaving we just gave it a good shake and the sand shook right off. The kids like to spread this blanket out in the back yard and play their games on it or just sprawl out and read. And next week we’re taking it on a camping trip. I’m pleasantly surprised at how much use we’re getting out of this blanket…it’s way better than spreading out a bunch of towels!There’s lots to like about this blanket:- it’s easy to clean- it’s easy to transport and store because it rolls up nicely and stays closed- it has a long, adjustable strap so you can carry it over your shoulder when your hands are full- it’s lightweight- when it’s spread out, it’s huge but rolls up into a nice compact rollI am so glad I ordered this.

We got the 80″ x 100″ one, and thought it rolled up nicely considering the large area it covers. Being realistic, this is all about keeping dry and clean. It doesn’t magically make the ground warm nor does it protect you from the elements above or around you. If sitting on a rock hurts, it will still hurt even with this picnic blanket. So while you can use this in many places, I’d highly recommend grass or paved surfaces. If you pick a rocky area, you’ll remember it when you crawl over to your backpack on the side and accidentally put your knee on a rock underneath. If that sounds bad to you, you can look for thicker ones like the tarp blankets which will offer a bit more protection for triple the weight. If you’re having a picnic on grass though and want to throw down some backpacks? Absolutely.For this size, it says “up to 10 people” even though it says “8-10 people” for one size up. The photo shows 8 people, I’d say 6-8 is good especially if you have backpacks and whatnot.

I got the TigeJoy picnic blanket for a family beach trip, and it turned out to be one of the best for outdoor hangouts. It is huge with plenty of space for 4 6 people to sit comfortably without crowding or stepping on someone’s sandwich. The material is robust and thick, with a soft pleasant top and a performing waterproof bottom. We have used it on wet grass and on sandy beaches, and too much moisture or sand didn’t come through. It folds up very neatly for its size and has a handle on it, so it’s handy to tote around. The traditional print is adorable and ageless, and it doesn’t have that cheap look some other giant blankets do. And it doesn’t move around too much even on somewhat breezy days. Perfect for the park, beach, camping, or even just lounging in the backyard. Definitely a must-have for any outdoor adventure.
