Attractive,, low volt path lights with a potential QC issue.
You get a box of modern-ish low volt path lights meant to run on 12V ac/dc. Some assembly is required but not much and no tools are involved.Most of the parts are powder coated metal. the lamp lens is plastic and faces downward so somewhat weather protected and likely to last longer. A couple of feet of low volt wire is attached and splice connectors for the lamps are also provided to attach to your existing low volt transformer and wire. These DO NOT plug in to the wall and CANNOT run on house voltage. The necessary transformer and wire to connect are not included in this package.The lights when assembled are pleasantly high off of the ground–enough to cast a nice halo of light and if you are trying to calculate how many of these to use, I would say about 1 every 8 to 10 feet will give sufficient light to safely walk in most conditions. More dramatic effects can be achieved with lights closer together.These are not remote controllable and do not appear to be dimmable. A small switch on the fixture allows you to change the color temp from warm to bright white in three steps.Unfortunately, 2 of the fixtures were DOA when connected to power. I have contacted the seller to resolve and will update review when resolved.These are not value type lights which can be purchased more cheaply. They are fairly expensive at the price point these were made available to me. They seem to be well made but there seems to be a QC issue when half the fixtures are not working out of the box so really cannot recommend at this time.

Great high quality lights
I’ve set up over 100 landscape lights in my yard(s) this year. Different styles and different brands (a lot of Sunvie, though). These are one of my favorites. They are taller and have a wider spread than a lot of the others, they look great, and the choice of color temperature makes them blend in with any light layout. (I’m actually using them at 3000K though) I used these in some of the most prominent spots in my layout and they haven’t disappointed me yet. I have one on both sides of my small front porch and two along a very visible portion of my walkway. I’m still in the “test drive” phase and haven’t plumbed them up or hidden all the wires yet, but these lights are working out great. Very nice quality and great light that comes off of them. The item details call for 6′ spacing, but you could probably go a little farther since these are taller and cast a broader light than some other lights.At $79.99 for 4, these are a little more expensive than some other lights, but they really look great and mine are working wonderfully so far. If I had other high profile spots I wanted to light, I would definitely consider getting more of these. With only a couple minor issues, Sunvie products have really treated me quite well so far, but these lights are even a cut above the others I have from the brand. Very pleased.
