PERFECT OUTDOOR BLANKET🔆 I really love this picnic blanket.The size is perfect, one of the biggest that I have found on the market….really useful. The picnic blanket can be used outdoors or indoors, very convenient. I’m going to have my first kid right away, and I think she’ll be enjoy playing on it. Also the material is very very good, the back is waterproof design, suitable for outdoor or children playing on it. Water resistant-it was nice to not have the wet ground soak through the blanket.It comes with a carrying strap so that I can put the blanket inside, I think it’s a good product and would definitely purchase it again! It’s lightweight & easy to carry! Also the price is really good. I’m glad I found this product. You will love it too! Perfect for gifting!!!

A good picnic mat for outdoors
We’ve been using this picnic blanket for about a month, every weekend for picnic at grassy area and beach. Overall, I am satisfied with our new blanket, but also wondering if I should have bought one made with polyester or other water-proof material.What I like…- Good size for family of four: 2 adults and 2 toddlers have no problem sitting and lying down on this blanket.- Waterproof and Sand proof: The back of the blanket uses waterproof material. It kept us dry on somehow wet gras. The sand comes off easily at the beach too.- Thick layer: I wouldn’t say it’s super soft, but it is comfortable enough to sit and lie down for few hours.What I would want improvement on…- The front layer uses acrylic. It’s smooth and nice, but hard to wipe the stains and muddy dirt from the front. It also takes time to dry when you spill something.- It’s not hard to fold, but you do need to fold this in a certain way so that the Velcro can stick to its original state. It might have been helpful if there was an instruction on the back of the blanket.

I used this blanket at the beach, watching fireworks and for a picnic. Very comfortable to sit and lay on. It is a lovely blanket I will use again and again. Only one issue I had and that was when it came time to clean. I could not shake all the sand out given my height so I put it in the dryer (after I shook it) to get the remaining sand out. Other than my dryer being full of sand (duh) the sand came right out (used a shop vac to get the sand out of dryer). I have also since rinsed it on a gentle cycle cold in my washer (kids got ketchup on it) and hung to dry. Washed up perfectly clean (ketchup stain gone), but unfortunately with all the tumbling the Velcro attached elsewhere pulling the fibers from the blanket. The blanket is still 100% usable but now just has a few threads pulled. Lovely blanket just wasn’t the easiest to for me to clean.

Not for the beach.
This just wasn’t for me. Hubby & I went to the beach last week. So, in preparation, I searched for ” large beach blankets”. After extensive browsing, I bought this.I don’t know if I misread or misunderstood the description, but this just was not what I anticipated. I wont return a used product…but since it’s unlikely we’ll use it again, my next option is “gag gift” (bc its used).Anyway, here are my thoughts…hope this helps.PROs:> WELL MADE. The material is very thick with a vibrant pattern. The bottom is some sort of plastic or nylon; so it IS water resistant. The top…(see CONs).> TRAVELS/re-PACKS WELL. The handle is very convenient. The velcro to secure, is well made. It worked even after getting sandy at the beach. Unfolding was a breeze. And even though re-folding is never as good as it comes…it was relatively easy to close it up after use. The entire blanket is lightweight & doesn’t take up a lot of space in the beach-bag.CONs:>UNCOMFORTABLE. The top feels scratchy. It’s not wool…but maybe some sort of synthetic fiber? Whatever it’s made if, it’s not comfortable; even without sand invading, it feels abrasive on the skin. With sand on it, it’s worse…bc the fibers hold the sand…which brings me to my next point.>CLEANING. Meh. The bottom rinses off easy/fine. But the top holds the sand. So you have to shake, Shake, SHAKE it (like that early 2000s song) to get as much sand off. BC if you try to rinse it first, the sand just makes itself at home. 3 days home from vacay & I’m still at war with sand particles on THIS.> SIZE. Let’s be honest, when it comes to a blanket, it matters! This thing is waaaaaay smaller than I thought. I’m pretty good at math, so when I calculated the dimensions, I was moderately confident my husband & I could both hang out comfortably. (We are AVG sized; I’m 5’5″ 150lbs & he’s 5’9″ 185)Nope! Only one of us could fit laying down. While, both of us sitting afforded acceptable spacing….we were just a LITTLE TOO close after ocean adventures on a hot, sunny day. Ehhh…no thanks.OVERALL- the blanket is NOT horrible. So it simply didn’t fit our needs; like I had anticipated.This might actually be perfect for the park. Or for a couple of kids to horse around on…bc it’s durable.Perhaps I might try that (if I ever get the sand off) before giving it away. But, in my opinion, I couldn’t/wouldn’t recommend this blanket for beach days.
