Update 4/17/22:After having used this for a while now, I do find a couple of problems with it and so I reduced my rating by one star. I still like it. However; I have discovered these issues:1. While being able to change colors by tapping is fun for play time, it’s not so great for sleep time. A way to “lock” the controls so that a child cannot modify your settings would be nice.2) The light does not remember your previous brightness or color settings. So every time the light turns off, it reverts to the highest brightness level and back to a white color. And every time the color changes by tapping the light, it goes back to the highest brightness level. I prefer the softest (dimmest) light intensity.3) Having a default for a timer would also be appreciated. I tried to set the timer, with the remote, from outside of my granddaughter’s door. But I guess I was too far away from the light, so it stayed on all night long and didn’t remember the 15-minute timer I had previously set. Now I have to be super sure to set that timer while in the room. Even then, I would bet she could turn off the timer by messing with the night light. Again – lock controls please!Original review:I first purchased the SomeShine night light fox and thought that one was really cute. That one is orange even when the light is off, and I did like that. But it stopped working after a few days. Plus, it didn’t have a ton of features. It had a timer, and just one color. That was all. My granddaughter liked it, but when it broke, I couldn’t repurchase as it was out of stock. So I decided to try this Glinrui light instead. Everything worked out in our favor, as we like the new night light better! It is slightly cheaper, larger, squishier, and much more robust in its functions. Being able to switch colors and to even have the colors softly morph from one to the next is so nice! Being able to change colors with a tap is fun for my granddaughter. And the remote is great as well. SomeShine just can’t compete. We are quite happy with this new light. I hope it performs well over time. I will update this review if anything goes wrong.

Love This for Little Ones
My 4yo was starting to complain about being scared of the dark. I got him this bear to try to help him overcome his fears and be in charge of light. This is great! Made out of a soft, velvety smooth material. Easy to plug the little guy in every few days. It comes with a remote control but we don’t’ actually use it because my 4yoWould rather punch the bear 🙄
