It’s a work-in-progress
I have this hanging above a gas fireplace that has stone veneer. It’s very hard to hang anything on this veneer since I can’t drill into the stone veneer for fear it may crumble. So I’m stuck with hanging wreaths on S-hooks, which I’ve done here. I’m glad this wreath is lightweight, since I’m hanging the S-hook on a thin ledge. This wreath looks good, it takes awhile to fluff out and that’s currently a work-in-progress. I may eventually have to iron some of the maple leaves to get them to hang correctly. They’re quite bendable and they must be pretty sturdy since nothing has fallen off the wreath yet. I love the neutral colors. It’s a grapevine underneath and there’s a loop, about 1/2″ in diameter, to use for hanging. I haven’t tried the lights yet, waiting for the holidays to insert the batteries (not included). And, no matter how much I fluff, this isn’t 22″ in diameter. Also, it’s difficult for it to NOT appear lopsided. As far as value for the money, I got this on a markdown along with a coupon, so I think it’s worth it compared to other wreaths that look similar.

This appeared to be a tad on the small size when I first opened the box. I misjudged. This is the perfect door size wreath after you fluff and arrange it a bit. It is a beautiful piece to showcase and the lights are really dazzling!

Everything is there for a $22 wreath, except execution in putting it together. First, the loop to hang the wreath was installed on the front side of the wreath frame rather than the back. This makes the wreath hang at an angle if you don’t use a long enough hook or string. It cannot be moved. The leaves are also not really movable as some lack wire under the plastic, and some were installed the back side up, so you have to do a large amount of zhuzhing it up to get anywhere with it. As another reviewer said, the box is too small and causes some of the leaves to fold and you’d have to steam them out to lay correctly. Also, this is not a big front door wreath, it’s on the smaller side and it’s more of an accent, or maybe a 3 wick candle ring. So if you’re looking for something that’s a big statement for the front of your home, this is not for you. There was also a leaf that had what looked like droppings on it and kind of mildewed. I cut it off and threw it away, fortunately it was not in that prominent of a focal point. The lights are nice and they do have a timer function of about 6 hours.

Won’t last through the holidays!!
Never throw away packaging! Not pleased with this wreath. The stems are not bendable (won’t stay in place). Put new batteries in when purchased, and had the timer set. The lights did not last a month before they started fading, and then did not light at all. Poor quality in my opinion! Gave 1 star because I did like the color of wreath.
