Beautiful-perfect for winter
I love this so much, I went back and ordered another! It is cute and well made. I love the lantern look, as well as the detail to the figurine. The water is clear, and the light is fairly bright. The batteries last as long as any other lantern of this type, pretty standard. It plays Christmas music, which I did not care for, but there is an option to just have the light and the whirling snow. I love snow globe lanterns, and I was on the hunt for one that was not Christmas-y to have up in my house during the rest of the winter after all of the holiday decorations come down. It’s still so dark after the holidays, especially in my house, so I wanted something bright and cheery to liven my space without it being Christmas-y. This fit the bill. I wish the figurine didn’t have snow on it, then I would leave it out all year!

beautiful and well made but the twirling glitter and sparkling light it emits is not good for someone with epilepsy like me. i am sad i have to give it away. i didnt know it plays music until reading reviews here. i didnt see a way to turn on music. oh well, looking for another snowglobe i can tolerate.

This is a unique way to have decor in your home that isn’t a turkey, a pilgrim statue, a scarecrow, etc. It is like a constant Thanksgiving snowglobe that swirls with activity and has a timer. It doesn’t last forever on batteries. But with the timer I would say it lasts for 3-4 days or a bit longer. Once it starts draining, you will notice the swirling lessens and then that stops and then its just lit up. But I use rechargeables and it is not a big deal. I would buy this again if this one broke or got lost. I have it on my mantle and it just makes a great mood for decor.
