Great Birthday Present
Why do 5 year olds like scorpions and snakes? We have a 5 year old boy who wanted scorpions and snakes for his birthday. This collection of scorpion figures (6 pieces) worked perfectly for the scorpion part of the ask. They were good value and were colorful. He was able to look up the individual scorpions in a book I paired with the figures and tell me what type of scorpion each one was. They were big enough that they looked substantial without being overwhelming. They can be washed by hand. I wouldn’t put them in the dishwasher as I wouldn’t want to take a chance that the colors might fade. We didn’t wrap them as one present but put them on the kitchen table in between the other presents.

My 5yo son picked these out and loves them! Bonus: They GLOW under UV light!! Just like real scorpions. He figured it out with my husband they were hiding the scorpions around the house for each other and looking for them in the dark using a uv light like they try to do in out in the yard in the summertime.
